WHERE IS THE SNOW?

Mira has been wanting to build a snowman and play outside for weeks now. So I finally gave in and let her go out even though it was only about 30 degrees. But the sun was shining and it was nice out. So she put her snow gear on and she played on the slide...

And in her Swing
She also wanted to play in the leaves. She didn't miss the snow at all. I can't wait for the first snow though so she can finally build her snow man and go sledding with her new sled nana is getting her for christmas.

Crazy weekend!

What a crazy weekend. I actually got a Sunday off for the first time in at least 6 months. And Walmart still called me at 7 am to see if Iwould come in...NO WAY!!! Anyway. We took Amira to her mamaw and papaw Smith's church for the first time. They were having a christmas play and Tim was a sheperd and Joe sang a song. It was great. Mira did so good. She just sat there and watched everything. We had dinner afterward provided by a couple at the church. Everyone just loved her. Then we went home to watch the Colts beat the Broncos and Timmy had to go to work before he could see his team get crushed. Poor guy. I took Jess and Gary up to Chuckie Cheese with us for Astoria's Birthday party. We had a great time. Although Gary had 50 tokens spent in less than 5 minutes. I loved spending the day with family. Hopefully within the next few years I will be able to do this full time instead of working every Sunday.
Isn't this the cutest dress in the whole world.

Latest Pics

Well we finally got to talk to grandma and grandpa on skype. Mira was a little confused at first but she caught on. After we were done she went to the door and put on her hat and gloves and said grandmas home! Poor thing. We had to call them back so she could talk one more time. This morning when she woke up she wanted grandpa on the puter again. This is gonna be a rough month till we get to see them. It might turn out to be like that Jim Carey movie where his whole life is on TV. I told grandma she might just have to leave her computer on skype all the time so Mira can talk when she wants.
What a week. I worked Mon-Wed at the middle school now Timmy is getting to work 12 hour days so he doesn't get home till like 4 in the morning so I cant have him watch Amira. I don't like having a full time baby sitter but I also cant just stay home or I will loose those teachers who always call me. Even though he makes more in 2 hours of over time than I do all day of subbing. I think I will just see if the neighbors can watch her just next week. But hope all is well here are a This one is mira and her daddy in the rocking chair.

Here is the adorable little one on Thanksgiving.

Winter is finally here!

Well I guess it had to happen sometime. Winter is finally here. We had some icy rain last night that melted off this morning and now we are having some snow showers and a high of like 14 degrees tomorrow. I can't wait to come visit ya in Florida grandma. Everything is going pretty well. I have been subbing a lot at the middle school. I love it there. I have been in sixth grade english the last two days. Its a blast. Volleyball is going great we were able to field two full teams that will compete in state tournaments Jan.-March. The girls are incredibly talented already. I am so excited for the future. Christmas shopping is pretty much done we got Amira a little tikes basketball goal and a tag jr reading system. It is really cool its this hand held device that she can put over the words in a book and it reads it to her with cool voices and sound effects and asks her questions about the pictures and stuff. I am excited I think she will like it. Mom and Dad are so hard to buy for though cuz they have already bought everything they need. Hope all is going well. Love ya....

Amira is 2!!!

This was a proud birthday girl. I can't believe our little 3lb 60z baby has become such a big girl. She had a blast a Chuckie Cheese. It was crazy there but it didn't seem to faze her a bit. She ran around crazy like all the other kids. She loved the rides and the games. She ate pizza and half her cup cake! What a day.

She was very interested in the Crayons Dawn got her!

She rode the carosel about 5 times!

The girls did pretty good at sharing a ride on the car!

She just loved hanging out with Savannah!

And here is the brave girl in the tubes.. she loved it.

I am so proud of her. She amazes me everyday. I can't even imagine the things that will come in the next year of her life!!

WE LOVE FALL!!!

We have been having a great time outside with the nice weather. Yester day mira rode her bike and colored pictures of Geronimo and Rufus with side walk chalk on the cement. We even shot a few baskets with the basketball. She also took a walk over to Grandma's garden (even though nothing is left) She knocked on the door but no one was home...She is walking pretty far on her own now. She walked all over the yard and back in the field to pick up some leaves and she didn't want to be carried at all.

She is getting way to big. Here is a pic of her on her bike, her cousin Addie gave her. She loves it, she even puts her feet on the pedals and tries to push.

Here is one of her and Emma playing in the leaves.

Just out for a ride!!!

The cutest little Elmo!

Well here is the cutest little Elmo ever. Amira picked out her own costume this year and I couldnt have done better myself. She loved it, she didn't want to take it off all night. She did however have a few problems with everyone else's costumes. She did not like Gary's Dracula costume. She screamed and had to stay away from him, but he did look pretty scary, his costume was great. We spent the evening at Joe and Lynn's and she did pretty well there but she was scared a few times. We walked to about 5 or 6 houses and she held her bucket out then wouldn't let go of it the rest of the night. Overall it was a good time and she was super cute (and warm).

Here is a pick of her swimming like a fish as she calls it. She said grandma taught her this.

We went to play group today with Jill and Emma. The girls had a great time running and walking on the balance beams. Emma is great at that. Mira climbed up and a bar you can hang from that has mats underneath it and she pretended to be a monkey making all kinds of noises. Then she pulled her self completely off the mat and hung I couldn't believe it. She thought it was super fun. I can't believe how strong she is. She amazes me everyday.
Oh yeah and one more thing to brag about today. She was taking a bath tonight and stood up and said she had to go potty so I shook her off and sat her on the potty and she went pee! She got a sticker and was so excited. Hopefully this will get her back on track and wanting to sit on the potty more. I will have to get more stickers though cuz she wants like 3 at a time. Anyways Love ya Granny and Grandpa. I will post more pics soon.

HERE IT GOES!

Ok I am not quite sure what I am going to talk about in this blog but everyone has been begging me to get one so here it is.

I need some advice. I have a ton of stuff to talk about everyday from my daughter, coaching, teaching, Walmart, family, to life in general. How should I do this. I don't want a blog for each one.

I will start today by talking about Amira. My 22 month old little angel. She amazes me everyday. She started out 8 weeks early and only 3lbs and 6oz and is now right on track at about 22lbs and will be turing 2 on Nov. 21st. I can't believe it. She went from not walking until she was about 16months old to climbing on everything and barely being able to keep up. She only said about 10 words at 18 months and she now says 2-5 words at a time. Like this morning she was sitting on the bed and she got up and started dancing and said "dancing like a big girl" just plain as day. Then she got down and I followed her to see where she was going. She went to the bathroom and got in the chair at the counter and when she saw me watching said brush teeth. It was so adorable.

I have posted some recent pics of her below. Ok now leave some comments and let me know what you want to hear about my life and what you want me to shut up about!...

Here is one of her and Emma her cousin in the bath tub together.
